This setting of the Nunc Dimittis is from Rigatti's complete Compline publication and is scored for Soprano, two violins and continuo. At over 160 bars, it is one of the lengthiest pieces by the composer in our catalogue. The violins play little ritornelli and imitative motifs between the singer's phrases.
