Sinfonia in C

HOE009.1
The source material for this work is interesting. Two scores survive, the first of which may be in the composer's hand. It includes parts for oboes and bassoon. The second version (as published here) is in Johann Friedrich Fasch's hand and re-works the material for strings alone. It was copied at the same time as a sinfonia by Camerloher, and is catalogued under the latter name! The wind parts are also printed as an appendix, but they will not enable a performance of both versions. If you want the version with oboes, please email for details.
