Siehe, das ist Gottes Lamm, TVWV 1:1316

Full score

Text translated by David Bellinger.
Telemann wrote this cantata for Estomihi Sunday in 1717. It is scored for SATB, oboes, strings and continuo - the problem with the oboes is that there are two different versions and none really relates to the surviving score. For our edition, we print the score without the oboe parts, but provide separate prints of both sets so that you can decide for yourself whether you want to use either! Soprano and Bass have arias, while Alto and Tenor have Arioso-Recitatives.
